LOGO is a supporting organization for various ESC host projects in Styria. We take care of the coordination of the projects and ensure the qualitative implementation of the activities. Also, we pre-select candidates for the projects.

What are ESC volunteering projects in Styria?

There are several possibilities to volunteer in Styria. LOGO coordinates ESC volunteering projects which take place in these organisations:

Alternative Schools

Art and Culture projects

Youth projects

Social projects

 


How to apply for ESC voluntary projects in Styria?

All our open calls are published on European solidarity Corps website. Please register and check the database, if you want to know, which projects are currently open for new volunteers. Read the project description carefully and apply it according to the instructions, written in the advertisement. Have in mind that you must also meet official ESC requirements.

Can I send you a cold application?

Yes, you can send us a cold application when the projects are not announced. Please send it to euinfo@logo.at and indicate in the subject of the email which organization you are applying for.


How to prepare a good application?

A good application for ESC volunteering projects consists of a resume and motivation letter. Both documents must be written in English or in German.

Your resume should include the following information:

  • Your personal details (Name, age, current address, and citizenship)
  • Your contact details (email and phone number)
  • Your current and previous work and/or volunteering experience
  • Your education, qualification, and academic achievements
  • Fair evaluation of your foreign language(s) level
  • Also, you may add information about your specific skills, interests and/or hobbies in relevant areas.

Your motivation letter should include the following information:

  • Short introduction about yourself and your background
  • Specific motivation for a project of your choice
  • Your ideas on how you can contribute to the specific project.

Tip: your application must be clear and specific. You should avoid adding irrelevant information, personal photos, or writing too generic phrases.


What is the selection process?

  1. Once the application deadline is over, applications, which are submitted according to requirements, will be reviewed.
  2. Some applications will be advanced to the next round, pre-selected candidates might be invited for an interview.
  3. The team of the hosting organisation will make a final selection.
  4. The candidates will be informed about the results after the final selection. It takes about a month after deadline to make a final selection.

NOTE: We receive hundreds of applications. We are not able to confirm submission of application. We do not contact all the candidates. We do our best to inform about the selection results, but we do not comment about the reasons of being not selected.
